Opportunities in Seattle

In April of 2010, we hosted a Connect Conference in Pineville, LA. Pastors from around the state met with Bro. Greg Fuller, the Strategic Missions Pastor at the Connect Church in Seattle, WA and Bro. Gary Irby, church planter missionary for NAMB. They told us of the need for Christ in the Seattle area:

Seattle is one of the most unchurched regions in the U.S.

  • Approximately 90% of the population does not attend church.
  • Only 4% are considered evangelical Christians.
  • Washington is the most unchurched state in the nation.

Seattle has strong global impact

  • It is home to major companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Starbucks.
  • It is one of the top fifteen cities in the U.S.
  • It is considered by many nations to have a leading impact on technology, international commerce, music, world religions, outdoor recreation, and environmental concerns.
