PROCESS FOR NAMB ENDORSEMENT

Are you a member of a Louisiana Baptist Convention congregation, a Southern Baptist and a chaplain (full-time, part-time or volunteer) wishing to obtain endorsement?  Please understand that the Louisiana Baptist Convention does not endorse chaplains; rather this action is conducted by the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.  If you are interested in information please contact Ken D. Miller, Chaplaincy Evangelism Consultant (Volunteer and Corporate), Chaplaincy Evangelism Team, NAMB, SBC. at 770-410-6319 or kmiller@namb.net

WHAT PART DOES THE LBC PLAY IN THE NAMB ENDORSEMENT PROCESS?
In the process of being endorsed by NAMB, you will need a letter from the LBC Chaplaincy Coordinator stating that you are in fact “in good standing” with the LBC.  NAMB will not endorse anyone that is not a Southern Baptist and member of a Southern Baptist congregation.  Due to this requirement, a letter from the LBC-CM Coordinator and one from your pastor is necessary.

DUE TO SECURITY RESTRICTIONS, NAMES OF NAMB ENDORSED CHAPLAINS ARE NOT MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC.  FOR THE NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION OF A CHAPLAIN, CALL THE LBC-CM COORDINATOR.
