Disaster Relief Response in Rayne
According to Gibbie McMillan, LBC Disaster Relief Strategist, “We had a difficult weekend in Rayne. There were 145 homes with damage, 65 with light damage, 45 destroyed and 35 destroyed completely. The church building was not damaged.
We have 3 chainsaw units on standby but at present we do not have exact location of where we will be working. FBC Rayne will host the volunteers and will let each unit know when to deploy.
One shower unit is also on standby and the feeding unit volunteers will also be called on to serve meals to those working in the affected area.
Please be patient and wait until your unit is deployed before responding.
Chaplains will also be needed and James Carson will notify those needed.
