Church and Community

How to Start a Care and Hope Ministry

Your church or association can be involved in a Care and Hope Ministry.

To discover the depth of the need in your community call the Mission Ministries Department of the Louisiana Baptist Convention for a Community Needs Assessment.

Community Needs Assessment can be conducted in your area to determine what types of ministries are needed.

This Assessment will survey the agencies and institutions in your area to:

  • Learn about community services
  • Assess community problems and unmet needs
  • Establish relationships with community agencies and organizations
  • Discover ways to become involved in ministry
