Why camp this summer?
Students’ lives are changed at camp! Students meet Christ and are eternally changed. Students learn more about Christ and become a disciple. Students then go back to their communities and campuses in the fall and make a difference, reaching friends, serving their community, meeting needs. Camp changes lives!
What is camp?
Camp is Bible study, worship experiences, recreation, relationships, memories, and the best place for your students this summer!
What’s the difference between the camps? That’s a great question…. This summer, there will be two different camps that take place over two and a half weeks.
HIGH PURSUIT, July 5-7, 2012, is a camp designed for volunteer or bi-vocational youth leaders who perhaps can’t take an entire week off and bring their students to camp. The schedule is shorter – Thursday through Saturday – but will have the same PUNCH and IMPACT as the full week.
CLEAR Weeks 1 and 2 are Monday – Friday, July 9-13, 2012 or July 16-20, 2012. It’s a full week of Bible study, recreation, worship. See the schedules for more information.
What is SEVEN?
Seven…to the Lord, Seven is a very special number- one of His favorite! Seven is so full of meaning to Him, and for us. Seven isn't just another number picked from the millions of gazillions of numbers out there…Seven to God represents Perfection & Completeness!!
Ps. 18:31 "as for God...his way is perfect."
During camp this summer you will get the opportunity to explore all of the amazing 7's we take for granted daily like…
…mans pulse beats on the "7 day principle", there are 7 days in a week, 7 colors in the spectrum of the rainbow, there were 7 old testament covenants (or promises) made by God to certain men, 7 examples of who Jesus was saying "I am" to describe himself, 7 results of disobedience in Proverbs, 7 giants, 7 things Jesus said on the cross before he died, forgiveness is about 7x70, one of our favorites: Jericho’s seven 7s…get the picture? God’s trying to tell us something thru the number 7.
The real question is ME Lord?? Perfect and complete? Some of you are thinking 'no way'!
God wants you to know that He wants to change our lives...but first He wants to change our perspectives!! He DOES love you; He DOES believe in you, He DOES see you in a way that you can't possibly see yourself...perfect and complete...IN HIM!
Joshua 1:9 "do not be afraid...the Lord will be with you where ever you go!"
We are excited to see you this summer!! And more excited to see God change your life!! Get ready!

Designed for volunteer or bi-vocational youth leaders who perhaps can’t
take an entire week off and bring their students to camp.
Casey Johnson is the founder of High Pursuit camp. Casey is from Crowville, La. He spent most of his life in this small farming community. They attend Crockett Point Baptist Church in Crowville, La.
Casey is the founder of Exit 416 Ministries. Casey has a desire to share the Gospel of Christ with any age group that will listen. Casey has been blessed by God with a gift of relating to all groups of people, therefore giving him an opportunity to minister in any area of the church. Casey is a firm believer in the Word of God. He stands in the pulpit with a keen awareness that it’s the Word of God that does all the work. He just needs to passionately unfold it before the people.
Clear Camp Week 1, July 9-13

Frank Vaughn is a follower of Christ, a husband to a beautiful woman, Amy, father and a student of the Word. He has been married for nine years and has one dog, Georgia, an English Bulldog. He loves rainbow sherbert and ranch dressing, although never together. Really, Frank is a guy that laughs a lot and sometimes plays too much, but most of all loves students, and the God who created them!
209 ( 2-oh-9) is the evangelistic ministry of Frank Vaughn. It was birthed by a desire to see students not just challenged by God's Word, but changed by His words. We want to raise up a generation that is passionate about God and His purpose for our lives. We aren't looking for a set of emotional responses; we want to see people make drastic changes to follow God! We firmly believe that decisions aren't made in churches or at altars but in each individual heart. God has used Frank to break down the barriers of students’ hearts for the past seven years. Frank is the youth pastor at First Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia. We’re thrilled to have Frank back for a second time at Clear Camp!

Andy Coats is
the speaker for Week 2. He has a beautiful wife, Cristi, who is his partner in
ministry and his best friend. After achieving a Collegiate National
Championship title in power lifting, he finally surrendered to God's
call to ministry and has traveled for the past seven years as a speaker
and camp pastor. With his passion to teach and preach, Andy loves to
use funny stories to capture the audience’s attention, but strongly believes in
unfolding the incredible principles of scripture to challenge students to
choose repentance and encounter God’s life-changing presence. Having served in
a variety of church ministry roles, he desires to see students discover their
role within the church and embrace their calling and purpose.
He
received his Masters degree in Christian Leadership from Liberty University and
completed the required course-work for a Masters degree in Evangelism and
Church Planting. Currently, Andy is working on his Doctor of Business
Administration in Leadership degree in order to develop a scholarly, expert
understanding of leadership development.
In his
free time, he loves to play disc golf and climb mountains. While serving on
staff at a church in Colorado during the summer of 2011, Andy and Cristi
summited ten 14,000’ mountains.
Andy
currently serves as the COO of Clear.
