Helping Louisiana Baptists be connected by a massive network of people assisting each other to do volunteer missions. Providing mechanisms that inform interested parties about mission projects, mobilizes participants through connecting and equipping, and celebrates the work of the Lord in changed lives and Kingdom expansion.

The Purpose of Partnership Missions Mobilization Network

The purpose is to expand global missions impact by broadening the awareness of mission opportunities and by mobilizing the maximum number of volunteers being involved in the Acts 1:8 challenge. Multiple strategies will be employed, some of which include an interactive website, multimedia, conferences, online and onsite training, highlighting projects, and celebration reporting; get your missions participation certificate today!

Call of the Second Mile: 2010

Be sure to check out our new Connections Conferences & Connections: Areas of Interest pages - highlighting areas we are currently involved in, or are working toward establishing connections with.

We sent 44 teams to New Mexico, Arizona, and Oklahoma in October of 2009.  2010 we are looking for 300 churches to commit to sending teams into Canada or Oklahoma to partner with Native American and First Nations churches.  Please contact us if you would like to receive more information about this endeavor.

Urgent Need #1 - Northshore, LA

Northshore Church was blessed by a donation of the carpet for their new building. They are running very tight on their funds and need to find a volunteer to install their carpet for them. It is approximately 9,000 sq ft of carpet over a total of 2 rooms. They need to have it installed in about 2 weeks. Urgent Need #2 - Kaplan, LA

1st Project: Overhang has got be repainted, Drains removed and replaced.  The overhang is estimated to be 353 sq. feet with a total of 1,068 feet.  This doesn't include the 14 plus windows frames and 4 doors that need painting. 

2nd Project: Carpet: The Auditorium, including the choir loft is 2,405 feet--37 feet wide and 65 feet long.  It totals 2,405 feet. There are two isle sections between the foyer and the auditorium.  Those sections are 16' X 14' plus two 8' X 14' sections which totals 224 feet.   The carpet is ripping and soiled from age and usage.

Urgent Need #2 - Marksville, LA

Beginning around first of Feb. 2010 a building for The Church at Marksville, La.  Will need all types of help.  We especially need volunteers for March to contact us at this time.

Missions Alert!

We are starting to get calls from missions teams that want to come to Louisiana in 2010.  If you are an LBC church or mission that could use a volunteer team during Spring Break, or during the summer, we need to know!  Posting your own projects in the FORUM is as simple as writing an email.  Please be sure to include all relevant details and contact information.  Please contact our office if you have any questions.

Thank you to all who participated in Going - Praying - Watching.  All of our teams have returned home safely and we will be presenting the results of their work at the annual Meeting. We will post the videos from the Native American Awakening as soon as they are available.
